sorry if this has been discussed, not really in a searching mood as you've probably gathered. Anyone listened to the new autechre all the way through? Worh the purchase? (for an avid fan of anything from merzbow to .... well i have pretty diverse tastes i think it would be fair to say (lots of emo, dark psy, math rock, post rock). So really I'm looking for feedback on autechres new bit. i listened to the bbc preview they put out before the release and I thought it was absolutely glorious intense noisey almost techno but really pushing that term. So yeah, any thoughts?
 
Been listening through the plastikman archives a lot over the last couple of days. Sooooo much creative stuff throughout his discography. I'd post more but I can't seem to work out how to put multiple links up without causing the previous one to change ha. About to finish off the last of that coke, so I predict a change of vibe coming on. Maybe a bit of Miles Davis to wind down and while away the wee hours of the morning.

Don't be so pedantic :p That's pretty much the bear bones of it tho. There are some other tendencies associated with it, like lots of tapping/fingerstyle guitar and influences from emo and post rock.

Try these boys out for size, a bit less disjointed (relatively speaking to math rock)

Also, like most technically demanding things in life, the japs do it the best
