Cast -- Walkaway

Both my sister and I were into Cast and in 1995, to celebrate getting a job and moving out of my parents' home again, I took her to see the band at the Assembly Rooms (ravaged by fire 2 years ago, and never re-opened since).

Which brings us nicely to John Power's earlier band, The La's -- There She Goes. Which was covered by twee, underwear-under-their-pyjamas christian band Sixpence None the Richer; I wonder if they knew what the song was about? :sus:

6dNTR probably were best known for Kiss Me; but they also covered Don't Dream It's Over. That was originally performed by Crowded House; who also sang Distant Sun.
