What are the laws about having charges and probation in different states?

I wanted to know what the laws are and what happens, let's say you live in Indiana. You have 1 or 2 misdemeanors, NO FELONIES. and you haven't been put on probation yet. What happens if you move out of state, and let's say go to California. If you get pulled over in California, do the misdemeanors from another state come up on the police computers or whatever? I'm sure people move and stuff, so what happens? Also, what happens if you're on probation (misdeamenor) and you move out of state, if you say something to your probation officer I guess they transfer you're probation to the state you're moving to, or maybe they don't let you move, I don't know what happens. What if you don't tell your probation officer anything and just move, do they issue warrants? Then do the warrants show up in other states? ...anybody have experiences with this stuff or no anybody that has?

I am not for sure if they will hold you, if they pull you over or run your name for some reason in another state being as they are only misd. charges.. But, have you never heard of the N.C.I.C. computer terminal that most all cops have in their car and even if they don't have one in their car why do you think they call your license number in over the radio.. GEEZE! Yes it will be in the computer .. Yes you will probably be violated if you are already sentenced for probation and have'nt reported yet and have moved.. What are the charges anyway?
