I didn't read the above posts much, so I apologize if someone already said this:
I have been on suboxone for 3 years now. For 2 of those years I have used suboxone intranasal. I would snort quite a bit of the stuff when I was on higher dosages. I didn't notice any real side effects until about 6 months ago, when I would get terrible coughing fits after snorting the stuff. It gave me short term bronchitis, so I was forced to find another way of taking it.
I found a method that works like a charm; you can still take suboxone intranasally, and the best part is, there's no lung damage. In fact, this method can be used to snort any sort of drug.
Basically, you use a bendy straw, like one you get at starbucks or something (I buy big packs of straws from the grocery store for about a dollar). You cut it so that you can put one end up your nose (pretty far, just not far enough to cause pain) and the other in your mouth so that the bendy straw makes an almost 45 degree angle. You will want to put some tape around the end that's up your nose, because the drugs will blow out if you don't plug it sufficiently. Anyway, I like to load the drugs in through the mouth area (when its perfectly dry), and tap it so that they fall into the "corner area." I then take a deep breath through my mouth, load the straw in, and slowly exhale. You'll notice air coming out the other nostril, which is good (note, do not plug the other nose not in use).
The first couple times you do it there will be a stronger than normal burn, because all the drugs are going up your sinuses--instead of partially into the lungs--and they are going to places not previously reached. It is the greatest system because nothing is wasted, your lungs are intact, and you can "blow" large amounts all at once.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you enjoy this method as much as I do.
EDIT: to all the people who do the nasal sprays, try this method. It is so much more convenient, and works like a charm. My lungs have been thanking me ever since.
