What about the drugs we use ? did we choose them ? Share your thoughts here...

another thing i noticed is that since the much lamented disappearance of flunitrazepam, clonazepam has taken its place at exactly the same price. even though in theory you should be getting a lot more for your money (2mg clonazepam vs. 1mg flunitrazepam) in practice clonazepam feels like breath mints that accidently got lightly dusted with something slightly sedating.
god how i miss flunitrazepam.
 
In Australia we have some of the best customs and being an island with no land based border to cross into it makes most drugs cost a lot and are not that great quality.
I have travelled to Southeast Asia and Europe and tried drugs in both continents almost always find the chemical drugs are of much better quality. It was hard to find drugs in most of Europe but in India and Southeast Asia in some areas I was openly offered it. The weed we get here is about the same compared to stuff I have tried in Amsterdam but much better than the weed in Bali, Indonesia and India. The price for chemical drugs is stupid here in some cases 10 times the price for the same drug but of much worse quality than overseas. I have tried MDMA, Heroin, LSD and weed in other countries.
When I was younger in Perth it was easy to get harder drugs but because of my friends and people I knew, getting older 30+, I don't know as many drug users and now can only get hold of weed myself. If I want anything else I need to go through friends and even then it is limited to heroin, MDMA and meth. Coke has always been hard to get here and very expensive for a very bad quality compared to stuff I tried in Thailand.
 
I don't do hard drugs because I can't afford them mainly. I know I can't so I don't tease myself with occasional use because that would drive me nuts. Where I am in new england we got your cheap heroin, your expensive pills, MDMA and psychs around the university, and that's about it. Weed is also pricey and not particularly good. Got to say this is not a good place to be for a junkie.
 
Usually people will do whatever drug is available in the area. Where im at mostly everyone either does heroin, crack, weed or pills (benzos/opiates). Very rarely will i run into extasy, k, or anything else out of the ordinary.
