Bake magnesium sulfate in your oven covered at 350-400F for 2-3 hours. Should be white and flakey.
Buy 100% acetone. No nail polish remover. It has a bitterant in it.
Add dried mag sulfate to acetone to absorb any water that is in it. 1ml of water can dissolve 1g of meth. Crush the mag sulfate finely. Add until it stays suspended. The place in the freezer.
Crush up your crystal. Cover the better. More surface area. Put in a funnel with a coffee filter. (Silicone or glass funnel… acetone eats plastic)
Pour cold anhydrous acetone over the powdered meth.
Remove from funnel and allow to dry fully.
To raise purity you need to recrystallize the meth.
Methanol is the best alcohol to use. Add dried mag sulfate to this too.
Bring methanol to its boiling point in a pot of water with the container of methanol in it.
Add powdered meth. What doesn’t dissolve isn’t meth. Filter. Then return to heat. Evaporat methanol until a film forms on the surface. Then add drop by drop more methanol until it disappears. Remove heat and allow solution to cool to room temperature. The slower the better. I recommend letting it cool in the pot of water.
Evaporation will occur. Don’t allow all of the methanol to evaporate, you’ll want to pour off a small portion of what remains.
Allow your crystals to fully dry before touching or they will turn to mush.
Once fully dried. Rinse with ice cold dry acetone.
The way crystals form the remains of impurities will be on the outer surface and easily washed off.
Dry and enjoy.
