I guess I'm no longer a greenlighter! YAY! I've been a member and visitor of the site for years, go figure it took this long to get my bluelighter status..
On another note, does anyone have any suggestions for cool music, movies, books, etc for me to discover?
I wanted to ask for songs to learn to play on guitar, but I decided to ask about other things as well. I feel that I need to broaden my horizons once again.
It feels good to be back. Where is that only friend of mine on here....?

You probably already know about Films & Television, (Non-)Electronic Music Discussion, Second Opinion (annnnd maybe even Words lol :P)
 
I'm into SciFi and Fantasy audiobooks, and I haunt the best free audiobook site that there is. Just downloaded a pretty good one about a land called Panimandorah. It's got two series, one for kids, and one definitely adults only, called "The Cowry Catchers". There are 4 books out, and a 5th to come, the last, this month. But the choice is VAST on there, and audiobooks save tiring your eyes. In fact they're podiobooks, really, not to give site names away. All the types of books you can thnk of.
Music wise my tastes are pretty large, but as I'm over 50, I'm quite Woodstock style music. But when You look at the Tubes there are, you find new stuff like Bucket Head, he plays a wicked bit of guitar, and You just link on to what you please as you find it. Zap to another if it's not your style.
Movie wise, SS, I'm as limited in my taste as I am for books. I just google up the list of this years best 100 scifi films, series, and see what's around.
I've got a long way to go before I'm a Bluelighter, and it'll probably take me longer than it took you, at the speed I'm going.

As a humble Greenlighter, I'd just like to mention that I tried to take that damned survey, and it's darned well been closed ;) Why've they closed it? For New Year, or forever?

Ah, sorry Bob, i had the intentions of being staying in for a bit on here when I started the thread, but i ended up going out and adopting a traveling fellow for a few days. Nonetheless I will try to post in the proper places and be less scatterbrained when I do so.
And to you Mr. Scagnattie, I'm into a lot of different things, I was just trying to wing it and see what people came up with.
and to you starlyte i think i may know the site you speak of.
 
Hi ss.. i'm not even close to being a bluelighter, but when I saw your post about movies etc, I couldn't resist. In no particular order of preference; Candy, Anchorman, The Beach, Finding Nemo, Lion King, Dark Knight, Fight Club, and many others (but I'll see how these are received first).
