It is, I love it. I really like plants though, so it gives me a focus for all this otherwise undirected energy.
Right now I'm scared the weather will shift and kill everything (as it is known to do here), so its just stuff that will survive a bit of cold weather... collards, broccoli, lettuce, brussels sprouts, etc.
But I have an army of pepper plants started inside, all sorts of them, tomatoes, eggplant, a solid variety of herbs, zucchini and squash in a couple months when its really warm, okra, who knows what else. I don't have much room in the backyard, and someone built a 2-story apt building over the winter in an inconvenient place, so I have even less good light. It will pan out ok, but I'll probably have to make some raised beds or do container plants for some of it.
I can't wait to put all my cacti back outside too. They are really getting a bit large to live in the kitchen over winter and they stab the shit out of me pretty routinely.
