While apples will be missed, Deus has decided to step up to the plate and help ... Deus has been through the Other Drugs Training Camps and is OFFICIALLY apart of the Other Drugs Regime ..
I selected him because he has really shown he has the shit needed to make a good mod - he also covers the early morning hours when I am sleeping, so, in the past you people, I mean you monstors got away with things like PILL-ID's because I was sleeping or at work while other people assisted in helping you identify the blue pill you found on the floor of your room... NO MORE!
He will help carry us into the new year, and with the new year comes a New Other Drugs... the forum is going to be changing....
Now, if Deus would like to tell us a little about himself...
 
Thanks Phreex - First off I'd like to say I'm very happy to be apart of the Other Drugs team. I have been posting religiously for some time now with no other desire than to better the forum. My added ability to close/move threads as I see fit will only further aide this fourum. I usualy sleep while PhreeX is awake, and when I'm awake most likly I'm sitting on here posting to Other Drugs.
Now, for a little about me and why I'm qualified:
I'm reminded of a discussion that took place in our Other Drugs IRC channel a few weeks back. What makes a good moderator? The idea of a good moderator seemed to be someone that has book knowledge, as well as personal knowledge. I honestly have nothing better to do than to sit around and research these "Other Drugs", its all I really do. But "Deus" you say, "What about the personal 'street' knowledge?". I'm glad you asked, I also have nothing better to do than to sit around and try these drugs. Wether it be popping some capsule, snorting a line of something, or loading a rig. I've shoved quite a lot of chemicals into my body, so I can personaly account for almost everything I post on, that mixed with a strong knowledge of the drug from my research makes for an excellent and strong reply. Of course, like everyone else, I'm still learning. I look forward to your support in the coming months as I get this whole "Moderator" thing down. I also look forward to growing in my knowledge to better serve this wonderful community that I'm apart of. I've had many years of partying, now those days are over, but in those years I got to view a lot of the "drug scene" and I know the ropes, and now I can sit in the comfort of my own home and share that knowledge. Thank you all for giving me the chance to be an even more active member of the BlueLight community. I look forward to serving you! Thanks again!

Congrats and welcome aboard, bro! You've got my seal of aproval and I'm sure you'll make a great addition to the team. Now, for a few administrative issues:
Make sure you send me a memo with your name, email and social security number and i will make sure we get you on payroll by the end of the week - also, your bonus for being an "Otherdrugs Moderator" should have been effective as of this past Monday and should be on its way to your home as we speak - it is packed in an airtight unmarked container, just as you requested.
You should by now also have your "OD Mod identification card" which is honored by most all street dealers for an additional 25% off all purchases and is also redemable for head in the girls bathroom in most clubs and bars in major metropolitan cities across the US.
Lastly, we are also cutting you a set of keys to the executive "Otherdrugs Lounge"... they should be on your desk by Monday morning.
Be forewarned: There will be random drug testing of all moderators on a semi-weekly basis. Show up to work clean 3 days in a row and we will be forced to once again review your moderator status - Deus, I know you won't let this happen.

Awesome, Deus. Apples is a good guy, but honestly he wasn't making much use of the priveleges and Deus121 is a man who can put these powers to good use.
As anyone who frequents #OtherDrugs on IRC here (use the lame web client and type "/join #otherdrugs" minus the quotes if you're lame, otherwise just point your 31337 irc client at angel.bluelight.ru:6667) knows what I mean when I say Deus personifies the spirit this forum is shooting for. If he isn't shooting something up or giving somebody (often me, you rat fucker! ;-) shit, he's got war stories that'll make you turn green.
A voice of experience -- somebody who, hopefully, can set so awful an example that some of you dimwits will learn something.
That said, long live Other Drugs. Down with candyravers.

I too am thinking of becoming a moderator. I'll let ya know. Please dont bother me about this. I wont be pressured. I'll announce my decision sometime in the near future.

Um, announce what you may, it wont be for Other Drugs or Psychedelic Drugs ... maybe you can mod one of the new forums like "Life" or that sex forum... but Other Drugs - lets just say Deus has been waiting months for this, and the waiting list of future mods is composed of those that have been here, done their time, and are ready to help others... it's also a list you don't ASK to be put on...
