I was standing inline at a party last night and i noticed a 15 pack on the ground, so I picked it up and ran to my car to keep it there.
When I get home I test the pills on a ceramic coffee mug. The reaction went like this:
Immeadiate dark organge to a bright red in about 5 seconds and by the 7 second mark it was a purple red.
I tasted the pills and they had no taste what so ever so I am pretty sure there is absolutly no MDXX substance.
I am just wondering what chemical the pills could be.
Any idea's guys?

Can you do that test again (twice more please) using no more than a pinhead's worth of powder and let me know the results at [email protected] please?
...Please also note down the EXACT colour changes over a timed 10 second period?...
We might have something interesting here...
many thanks..

Hey no problem man. I will do it as soon as possible, but I want to have my girlfriend there so she can time the color changes for me while I note the color changes.

Hey, I think I found the answer... According to Erowid.org, the substance is either 2CT-2 or 2CT-7. Exact Quote:
2C-T-2 : Orange to Red (usually a sort of salmon color)
2C-T-7 : Orange to Red (salmon, again; also, there is less tendency towards orange than 2C-T-2 shows)

I guess it would be safe to take them, but who know's how much is in each pill? It could be like way too much and you might have a really bad trip .. probably best to ditch them..

I found out my problem here. I was using the wrong surface. I put a drop of the marquis reagent on the coffee mug and it did the reaction above. So I went looking for a cermic tile and well the pill did no color change.
So the lesson learned is make sure you have a peice of ceramic.
