Weekly Poet Showcase: This Week - Alykitty

This will be the first in many more instalments of little bio's on some of Bluelighters most poetic poets. I'll go through all of there threads and pick out a few of their poems then write commentary about them then ask them a few questions.
I picked Alykitty because besides from being a very intelligent person, she gives back more than she takes. When I entered her name into the search engine, she showed up on over 180 threads! That is only in words alone! That to me is impressive beyond words (no pun). Most of the posts she's in is as a replier. But after searching I found a few poems she did write:

These poems both writen or posted by Alykitten are very rich with emotions. Their content is filled with such passionate writing that it makes the reader feel a warm buzz after finishing.
But Alykitty would most be remembered for her outstanding comments to everyone elses posts.
"when I see a post that has 0 replies....I always make sure to reply to it...i've seen so much talent get lost in that forum because no one encourges them to do more or even says...hey man..that was nice"
Such total lack of ego is why words is one of her favorite forums, for good reason too:
"It's a place where people can go to write their intermost thoughts and concerns without worrying about assrape and disrespect. Plus! I love to glance into these interesting peoples lives"
Her first love of the words forum is to encourage others:
"I'm more satidfied with my replies to other peoples post..I think it's important to encourge people to write things that feel strongly about"
Her words of help definitly do help others:
Liquidphil1 comments on how he feels when alykitty replies to his threads, "I feel wonderful. special. happy that someone who is a good poet likes my works. i feel like im supported. like i have friends"
liquidphil's feelings are shared by so many other Bluelighters in words, which is why I'm honored to give this weeks spotlight to alykitty.

Wonderful idea. I think aly writes some awsome works and shares some quality poems with us as well. poems that mean somethign to me. evoke a feeling. make me happy to know her. her post to newbie artsits are second to none. im so glad this forum has aly as one of its main junkies. hell even in teh poem evan posted of alys. shes comforting the peopel in her thread. haha. poeple are saying how she helped her and in ehr own post in words she is giving them adviuce, will you marry me aly?

I love to encourage people to continue writing..I find it to be, one of the mose useful outlets I've used to rid myself of frustration, hate, love and stress....and I simply LOVE to get a glimpe into peoples lives, especially people I care about and share commom interests with..
Again, thank-you, to all you guys who replied to this..and to you, Evan, for coming up with this idea...I look forward to seeing who will be the next to be profiled..

Aly? Yeah, she's the coolest person I know. EVER. And I think she gives far more than she gets a lot of the time. So thanks for a most excellent idea Evan. But I don't know about this whole marrying Phil thing, we gotta talk.

aly is, without a doubt, a GEM in this forum. there have been a lot of times in my life that i turned to poetry to release myself, but more than anything, sometimes my writing reflects questions in myself i'm trying to get answered by complete strangers. strangers have no reason not to be completely brutally honest with you.
and aly, well... she has done more for me than she knows by some of the things she said to me. aly hon you really got me through a lot of sleepless nights, and i'm forever grateful. truly a gifted writer and we're all very fortunate to have her as part of our board.
