I used to be a heavy pot smoker, 3-4 for sessions a day for probably about 2 1/2 months and smoked very regurarly for about 6-8 months before that. Winded up having a terrible panic attack one day after 2 cones, that was about 11 months ago now. I was left with pretty much constant general anxiety for about 4-5 months after i stopped smoking.

I did therapy for a bit and that really helped in learning to deal with the anxiety, so its not really a problem anymore although still kinda in the background but I'm ok with that.

Problem is I've really been craving weed lately and reminisce about when i used to smoke alot.

Would getting baked once or twice make my anxiety flare up again for the next little while after i smoked?

Or would I be able to go back to smoking occasionally without any drama.

Like is it a chemical thing that weed sets off that causes the anxiety or is it all just thoughts?

Im also on 50mg of Zoloft a day for depression mainly.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated
:)

For me personally weed exacerbates anxiety... especially while I was on zoloft. But zoloft on it's own made my anxiety a lot worse. So I dunno if I'm any help. My personal experience was not neat tho.
