"weed world," does bud do THIS to YOU?

i tried looking, didnt see anything difinitive about this.

one of my favorite parts about getting high is something that my circle refers to as, "weed world."

upon hitting the device--be it tar, vaporized, joint, blunt, pipe, bubbler, bong, or hookah (ive gotten it from all of them)--the user's vision turns more or less immediately a shade of silvery-black. sense of time is distorted. intense euphoria/dissociation, often accompanied by tremors/light seizures, not unlike nitrous. sometimes visual/audio hallucinations, usually mild & involving colors. sometimes consciousness is lost for up to 2 minutes...

as i said, this state is extremely euphoric and sought-after. most of the people in my circle get it, although a few dont/havent ever.

some of the people have been smoking upwards of 25 years, so this is definitely not a fluke/dependent on the type of marijuana i have access to.

being high already does not seem to have any bearing on 'weed world.' it does not happen unless smoke is IN the lungs. it cannot be solicited UNLESS there is MARIJUANA smoke in the lungs (maybe hashish or vaporizer too), meaning cigarettes nor breath-holding have an effect.

'weed world' does not come with every hit. it comes rarely, although the quality of the bud has SOME effect. standing/moving with smoke in the lungs is the most surefire way to make me pass out/convulse. its less euphoric if i force it by standing... being under the influence of uppers like coke, ice, meth, adderall, and ritalin also increase the chance per hit of going to 'weed world.'

does anyone else know what im talking about? is there another name for this?
 
every time I get high I enter the "weed world", its just a typical high...
your perception and vision change, colors are different but I wouldn't call it a silver-black change for sure, for me things get more green, seriously.
everything is seen flicker like, no tremors/seizures for me, if I'd get stuff like that from drugs I wouldn't buy them, i'm in it for fun!
I sometimes seem to hear my cellphone ringing but I didn't get this effect for a long long time and I'm not smoking nowadays anyway.
I don't know how people find escape in that state, I feel like it amplifies my thoughts like a volume thingie on a stereo...
it gives you good vision of things and a different way to think about stuff, its fun to play video games too, cause i'm too fucked up to have a conversation....

its not always fun for me too, rarely, but nothing too bad, just some bad thoughts and stuff, but i know how to handle that kinda stuff with myself.

holding it in for more than 3 seconds is bad for your lungs, you need them.
 
^ you obviously have no idea what im talking about. you seem to be discussing a cannabis high... thats coveret at length already.

i already said is BITCHIN fun... so if youre really in it for the fun try it out.

what im describing is ACUTE, it comes, it blasts you(me), and it goes. in its wake a cannabis HIGH will follow..... but this is distinctively different from a HIGH.. is more dissociated..
 
I try to describe this all the time. Its so hard. I get it to. It only happens when I have been taking big hits and holding them in for at least 7 seconds each. Then all of a sudden ill take anotehr big hit and ill be holding it in. And then slowly it comes on...it feels like im a roller coaster and instead of everything going silvery black...for me it goes like digital...everything boxes apart...sometimes colours race across my vision and it will feel like Im flying through the air. The feeling of passing out comes out. This feeling is AMAZING. I always try to get to the weed world. I cant always get there. Sometimes it takes 1 joint...sometimes 4...sometimes i could smoke a 12 joint sess and not even enter the weed world once. It all depends. But it usually occurs when Im smoking the Chronic and holding in my tokes long and hard. It also only occurs with smoke in my lungs aswell.

Weed world is why i smoked weed. Its like Chasing the crack dragon...trying to get "that high" again.

Seriously, I've seen this being mentioned so many times, I wish people would stop using it. You don't have "seizures"..

I don't know what the hell you are talking about.. Just seems to me you're getting high, nothing more.
 
^well what do you call it when someone loses consciousness for 20-30 seconds & falls to the ground shaking all their extremities & slobbering on themselves?

ive seen someone legitimately HAVE a seizure....and it looked pretty much like when someone goes off into "weed world," save the duration.

winebox is a testimate--it does happen to other people.

its pretty easy to differentiate b/w nitrous and THC, no? this feels like n2o....then YEILDS to a pot high.

i know what being stoned feels like.
 
I notice alot now that after a hit or too , most of the time after my first bowl , when i stop , my vision flashes from colour to black and white and fades back into colour , ive only caught this happening a few times , usualy with big hits .
 
I beleive yall are referring to whats known as 'the flash', which sometimes occurs particularly with those too-big bong hits that you take anyway. Particularly prevalent when smoking kif (from a bong).

whered you get that name? if it just comes from your circle, then i like weed world better.
 
A lot of your descriptions sounds like the rush many people I know (myself included) get sometimes, particularly when holding in big hits. Unlike the gradual come-up of a cannabis high, this hits you immediately with an intense blast of effects, then fades into a more typical high. I very rarely get any significant visual distortions from cannabis, even when I experience a rush. For me, the primary effects of a rush are euphoria, time distortion, mental dissociation (none of the bodily numbness I get with n2o/dxm, though) and what feels like a very strong high. After a few seconds or so (hard to gauge due to the time distortion)
 
^my time guestimate comes from watching it happen to people/timing them or from people timing me.

while most definitions refer to it as the taking of property, i gathered that it can be an uncontrolled fit, too.
 
I dont know what the hell you're talking about, only thing I can think of is that you are holding your hits in so long that lack of oxygen is making you hallucinate

already covered that.

lungs must be full of THC-laiden smoke. cigarette smoke wont do it, neither will holding breath, high or sober.

That's what a seizure normally is.. Meanwhile, have you read through the page I linked? It sums up a list of things that could cause these "non-epileptic seizures", including indulging in ritualistic behaviour, which I think your experiences are as well.

But man, for the rest you're just describing a good headrush.. Part of the high, nothing special.
 
Hmm I'm not a big fan of stimulants but I do experience this "weed world" while toking on acid. I suppose acid could also be categorized as a stimulant though. The colours get far more vivid though, as opposed to turning 'silvery-black'

seems to me you call it a headrush.

and it is something special...some people dont get it, ever.
 
the fact that a few people here seem to get it and a few dont doesnt alter your opinion on the matter?

sorry to burst this bubble. but many seizures are caused by heart flutters or blood problems and have nothing to do with epilieptic brain patterns.

it is possible to have such 'seizsures' from smoking too much, drinking a bit and not eating right. i've had such. but it's not really a 'woah, i smoked too much' deal. it's more of a 'woah, i'm not taking care of my body at all deal.
