Weed legal in California?

So I've heard this rumor going around, it says that there is a bill in California for marijuana to be legalized. Is this true or is it all just talk?
 
LOL well I was just making sure. I thought it was just talk... And yes.. I will go back to smokin my weed
 
Dude there is this thing, like its called google news, like it is this magic place where all the current events related to pot are posted. Like check it out.

yo i read that and read up on the situation and basically it has zero chance, they have enough votes to kill it as soon as it comes up for debate. it's not finished anyway, like it has zero regulation, compliance or safety etc so it's be a total cluster fuck kinda like medical seems to have become so we probably don't need to swap one for another right away
 
Honestly I thought it could have a real chance at first, because it really wouldn't change much at all day to day there except solve some real problems. But of course even in liberal as hell california that's a hot enough button. But before I found out about the votes I was looking at the math on the taxation and shit and realized they made a couple of pretty big errors.. like assuming 3x too much weed to tax so the revenue number was like twice as large as it should have been, oops. So at that point I got a little more dubious.
 
i guess if we ever secede from the US it will be...but as it is, i think most states are living in the past and this doesn't help us progress at all.
