weed increasing opiod bioavailability

No.

It will of course be an enjoyable high, but it does not magically increase the bioavailability.

There are many ways of potentiating opi's. Dxm, anti-histamines (diphenhydramine, doxylamine, promethazine etc). If you wander over to OD there is an entire mega-thread on potentiating opiates.

Only way you'll increase/change the bioavailability is by changing your route of administration.

Yeah I usually take promethazine or benadryl, but notice an extreme difference in my high once I've smoked, but I guess that could just be both highs simultaneously

As I said it will synergise and make for an enjoyable time but it wont do anything to increase bioavailability.

IV prep diphenhydramine (which is whats in benadryl) mixed with a shot of H then sublingually dosing a few bricks of xanax is probably the best rush I've ever had. Though always be careful mixing opiates and benzo's.

It's irrelevant to the recreational user just concerned about getting high, because bottom line, it makes the opiate high feel more intense (much better than a lot of so called 'opiate potentiators') and the nature of the high much better. Basically the sum is much better than the parts.

I agree with that's said in here --- cannabis doesn't increase the bioavailablitiy of oxy morphone/codone, although it mixes well and feels like a pretty damn awesome combination in my opinion (and clearly that of others too :) )

Although another moderator closed your thread in Other Drugs, if you're interested at things that CAN potentiate oxymorphone and oxycodone, The Ultimate Opiate Potentiation Thread v2.0 in Other Drugs is a good place to start.

I think this has been sufficiently answered, so I'm going to close this. PM me if you have any further questions, but the posts in here + the thread I've linked you to should be all you need. Be safe!
