weed in california and the people who smoke it

if you live in california, more or so, Southern California

has anyone else noticed what i call the "kush trend"
dealers and smokers alike all hyped up about kush like its gonna solve all the worlds problems?

now i know Kush is good, potent, and pleasing weed, but jesus, its not the only good, potent, pleasing weed strain
granted to each their own, but ive met people who have turned down a free smoke session with me because i didnt have Kush and had other types of weed
i get dealers adding to the hype by calling their stuff kush and such, its their bussiness to hype their product, sure, its wrong to call your bag of Schwag your selling Kush, but from a dealers stand point, its a good idea n blah blah blah
Anyways, im just tired of hearing people say "Kush is the best weed ever" "Nothing beats Kush" "I only smoke Kush"

i had gotten a dime of what i was told was mango kush, and smoked some, notcied that the high had no indica style properties at all and asked what was up and the guy said he lied and it was actually Super Lemon Haze but all his customers only wanted kush and wouldnt buy his Haze so he paraded it around with a diffrent name. It was very very potent and good Super Lemon Haze that should have sold well, then again, i think he mostly deals with teens. But honestly, it breaks my heart when you cant get rid of some potent Super Lemon Haze because all the people around you only want Kush
