weed drying out?

i'm getting a Q tomorrow but i'm leaving the country in a week, for a month. question is would it dry out or how can i prevent it from drying out. or should i just give up on it and give it to someone else?

put it in a heavy duty ziploc and leave it in the freezer. Or leave in some really air tight jars.
I was just in Europe for over a month and left a few nugs for when I got back, just in a normal..not that good glass jar. They had dried out a little, but also seemed more potent and tastier than before...but the hash I brought back from Amsterdam definitely helped out in those departments..
