Well, I'm not the one you're doubting, it was my friend who related this all to me. I don't think he was making that up; why would he?

Bud hallucinations are *rarely* ever as powerful as shrooms, acid, or salvia, but they're definitely there. Sometimes, when I smoke bud, I get faint CEVs which generally do not last very long.
 
as i type this the letters constantly move with a verticle-elasticity. i've smoked a lot of dank today. driving home was scary but amazing.. more confusing than an acid trip for sure

dank and stress aren't only in different leagues. they're like different drugs

potent sativa strains are hella psychedelic..part of the trippiness is the confusion of reality appearing differently. some people get visuals like me..that started after a heavy acid feast over one summer. it's monly mini flashbacks for me
the dissociation and derealization can be tough tho. i can't smoke around other people as much anymore

when i took 5-htp with weed i started having some insane CEV and some crazy strange hallucinations like i saw my body as a blue wireframe and my tongue felt huge. it was pretty awesome
 
Hallucinations on cannabis are for me only ever CEVs, and feel more like "impressions" or "imprints" on the back of my eyelids than full-fledged vivid hallucinations. I can see these patterns and colors and various phenomena but it's all pretty slight, kind of hard to make out. OTOH, if I've smoked some really potent THC-heavy bud like Sour Diesel then the CEVs can be pretty intense. But it's still not in the same realm as LSD or psilocybin.
 
I have definently hallucinated on weed. When I was a lightweight, weed was so amazing. I feel bad that most people didn't get to feel it like I do. Everything was distorted, saw stuff that weren't there, walls breathed, the whole 9 yards. When I first tried a real psychadelic (shrooms) my first thought was "holy shit this is like being a lightweight with weed again" Granted, it doesn't compare to my strongest shroom trips, but it definently compared to some of my shroom trips. I know some/most of you won't believe me, but it really doesn't matter. I got to experience more with weed then you will ever get to, so HA, though, ever heard the saying "can't miss what you never had"? I miss how weed used to affect me so much.... I need to see if I could get back to that with a good enough tolerance break. Though saddly, I suspect that it will never get that magic back. God, talking about this is making me sad :!:!:!
 
i agree with beard, i wish all the time i could restart and have the amazing times smoking i had in the beggining.
 
I get tracers sometimes, weird glimmers around lights, a shimmer effect around things like TV that makes me think I'm cross-eyed, peripheral disturbances... Basically, everything just looks so much damn cooler when I'm stoned. The first time I smoked, I was throwing up, and I kept perceiving what I considered at the time to be a 'chucko-meter' - that is, when I felt like I was gonna vomit, I'd picture it in my head. Sounds stupid, but just what was happening in my head at the time.
Like the first guy said, it does distort your perception to a degree. I don't have any motor skill trouble driving when I'm high, but shit looks a lot different, and sometimes I tend to zone out or lose focus, so I try to avoid it.
 
every time i use my friend's volcano vaporizer i get VERY high. sometimes to the point of being uncomfortable. almost always, after volcano vaping, i'll hallucinate ie: drawings will move like it's something from harry potter. i've had a few acid trips at his place so maybe revisiting the set and setting w/ the same group of people makes the whole weed high more intense.
speaking of acid, everybody i've talked to has said that after they've done acid a few times, their weed highs have been considerably stronger. same here.....huh go figure
 
There are breeds of marijuana that can cause halucinations. such as Belladonna or Kali Mist. perhaps not on the same level as LSD or Psylocybe mushrooms, but one cannot really say for sure because how does anyone know for sure how the altered state of your brain is going to react when you introduce a foreign substance. Less is known about how marijuana effects brain chemistry and electrical signals than any other known drug. it is totally possible for people have a halucinogenic experience just because their brain chemistry might differ from someone else.
