Weed + 2cE = Panic? = please help!

This is my first post on Bluelight.nu but I have been lurking for a long time now. I thought I might share something with you fellow drug users in hope that I might find out wtf happened last weekend.

I am a 290 pound male 6' tall and in pretty good shape. I started last weekend off with only 10mg of 2c-E and a few small joints perhaps 1 gram. here is the time table as best as I can recall.

T+ 0.00 Take 10 mg 2c-E and smoke a few hits off a joint.
T+ 0.30 Feel a nice relaxing stone and having hints of the 2c-E
T+ 1.20 Eyes are dilated and I am most defiantly feeling the 2c-E
T+ 2.00 Carpet is moving very fast. Almost looks like water.
T+ 3.00 At my peak now total bliss happy and everything is fine with the world.
T+ 3.30 Smoke some weed and lay back in this wonderful feeling of total bliss.
T+ 5.00 Starting to come down very easy. Eat some food watch some tv.
T+ 7.00 Totally down now just hanging out around the house.

Now this sounds like a good trip right? Yes it was up until I smoked some more pot at T+ 12:00 I smoked only half of a very small joint and almost instantly my pupils got fully dilated I mean I look like I had only these two black things in my head almost like a sharks eyes look. My heart rate went from 70 bpm to 140. And my breathing got very fast and shallow. I got very scared and did not know what to do. So I got in the shower and rocked back and forth for about 40 minutes and then everything was fine. I have done 2c-E at least 20 times befor this and never have had this problum and I always wait at least 2 weeks between trips.

Has anyone else had this type of attack happen with 2c-E? I would like to know if its just me or if its something common. I have tripped before on DXM, DMT, LSA, DPT, Salvia and 2c-E. And never have had something like this happen. Any help would be great.

This sounds like a run-of-the-mill anxiety attack which Cannabis is known to occasionally precipitate on its own. I usually experience them on rare occasions where I find myself suddenly much more stoned than I expected to be. In my experience, these are usually psychological in origin, though they do often seem to "arise from no-where" sometimes. I've also known a lot of people who have actually given up pot for extended periods of time, or even for life due to these "bad-stones". With 2C-E involved, there may be a greater likelihood that it will happen, yet, there doesn't seem to be any particular pharmacological configuration that always produces this phenomenon.

I have personally found Cannabis to potentiate 2C-E to frightening proportions during the peak. I have experienced moments of sudden ego-dissolution after smoking Cannabis on both LSD and 2C-E. This usually triggers a mild panic at first which hopefully prompts me to relax into it.

Oh yeah, I'm not sure they are exactly anxiety attacks as they do often settle out in less than an hour, and they usually occur in response to the smoking and not to any other particular trigger.

It may perhaps be useful to consider the nature of your thoughts at that time. I often receive important insights, triggered by an experience, days after the experience took place. I find that a trip leaves my mind in a mildly psychedelic state for up to a week afterwards. I find that Cannabis is potentiated, seems (by my perception, not actual measurement) to cause mild pupil-dilation instead of the usual contraction, and brings with it visuals that represent some kind of hybrid style between the Cannabis itself, and whatever drug is freshest in my system.

Thank you so much for the help. I think it was simply a panic attack or something of that nature. I have smoked sense them and have been fine. Though I have noticed the carpet start to move some when I first got stoned after taking the 2c-E so I think you are right. If it happens agin I will know what is going on and hopefully be alittle less afriad.
