Weak reaction to LSD

I took 3 1/2 hits of acid and the effects are not profound(I did it with a friend and he was blown away while I was pretty much just watching him). Is there a weight ratio thing with acid? And by profound I meant, Im not seeing or feeling anything, I just feel normal.

Are you taking any kind of medication, such as SSRIs? If not, then maybe you got some bunk LSD whilst your friend got the good stuff. If you shared tabs from the same blotter sheet, maybe it was really poorly laid and only some of the squares got dosed.

Or perhaps your friend was just exaggerating.

Yup, medication can get in the way (such as antipsychotics that prevent you from tripping), otherwise typical reasons are:

- Low or non-existent dose (very common, and to quote House: 'people lie')
- An imposter drug: if you swallowed the blotter and your friend kept it in his mouth for a while, a NBOMe compound could explain what happened (unfortunately: common nowadays)
- 'Unnatural' tolerance: if you took certain drugs in the week prior, this can prevent you from tripping (common)
- Certain set & settings: there are situations that sober you up, especially if the effects were not strong to start with (uncommon)
- Indeed uneven dosing of the blotter (not that common AFAIK)
- 'Natural' tolerance: some people are just hardheaded, although in some cases people may think that but it just turns out to be one of the reasons above. (uncommon)

I am not on nor have I taken any kind of medication, so it wasnt that. I think the blotter just wasnt laid right.

Getting laid can be tricky, in defense of the blotter.

Next time, you could consider pooling and dissolving the LSD out of the blotter into a small volume of solvent (alcohol, spirits, non-tap water), for the doses meant for both you and your friend - then splitting the liquid and swallowing (unless you are okay with random NBOMe compounds). That way, whatever your friend gets you get the same. >> ? >> profit.
Who knows... then your conclusion might be a different one.

The most likely situations are:
A. Your friend convinced himself he was feeling something.
B. The effects were too weak and you didnt let the drug take over so you didn't notice it.
Or, a combination of A&B: Your friend over exaggerated the effects while you didn't notice them.

The only other real possibility is that they were laid wrong, which is soooo unlikely, that is if your friend ACTUALLY felt something.
