When I was two years old, you walked out the door. Leaving my mother behind. Because you didn't want to care for her anymore...she gave birth to your child...I couldn't understand how I didn't matter..

You never called to see...

if I ever learned to walk..
To hold me when I first hurt myself..
to see if I ever learned how to ride a bike..
To be there when I started to go to school..
To be there for christmas..
To be there on my birthday..
To here about my sweet sixteen.
To see if I could drive a car.
To help pitch in for my first car.
To care if I was alive.
To see if I graduated highschool.
To hear about my first real vacation.
To hear about how I almost died.
To see if I went to college.
To see if I ever fell in love.
Got married or had children.
Will, you notice when I'm gone..
Will, I notice when your gone..
Should I care as much as you have..

I'm sure you were there for when you son
went through these things.. to bad you
forgot about mine.. this is why they like
to provide condoms.. because, there was no
good excuses why?!

How could some leave a life like this behind.
I am a beautiful individual.. that you'll never
know.. I'm glad when night falls I can rest easy.

How about you?
