We build our own prison brick by brick
Stick by stick
Static mental programs set on repeat
The feeling that we are alone elite
Each passing person receives a judgment
As ego sits enthroned
Every day waking up thoughts of skills to be honed
Feign our feelings
Inside a monster
Repetitive conditioned loops control our every thought and desire
A pain like a fire burns through the headspace
When you confront your true face
Better now than never ignorance isnt bliss
Just delays your confrontation with the inevitable
Don’t be filled to the brim with hate
Eventually its too late patterns too far ingrained
All your energy drained
Karmic stains blot out your light
No divine in sight
Pray God for the bright white
But nothing only lingering darkness pervades
You have to save yourself
Our ideas and beliefs shape our reality
But we need sciences permission to change them
Born skeptics stay one till the end
To afraid to look around the bend have some faith in the unknown
Reason to far blown out of proportion keeps us caged
And our behavior staged
In a life void of meaning
Has us up till the nights ours weaning
Trying to find an answer
Maybe you don’t even have the desire to look
As you cling to your body like a hook
To afraid to live life like an open book
Wear an air of maturity and seriousness
Like a disease
Feign authority
To make up for your cowering self
This whole phasod
Is just to hard to keep up
But to stop would be an abrupt awakening
Leaving all your images in danger
With only a stranger left
Your real being too fake to reveal
So you keep your walls built high
Cling to your mask
Go complete what you imagine your task
In this life lined with nothing
But your defenses just to damn high
The entire life you lived a lie
The only question left is why?
