I have been taking TWO 0.5mgs (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) of the Xanax XRs or sometimes called SRs...
Will I have severe or life threatening WDs from this type of Xanax as opposed to the regular kind?

Someone told me that the Extended release ones are addictive, BUT, there not as bad as being hooked on the regular formulation.
The regular kind is the most dangerous to get off of because that hits you more and gets out of your system much much faster than the extended release ones.

Will I be Ok?

Soon to be running out of these....

Does anyone know that tapering off the Xanax extended release would be easier to do s far as dealing with WDs than the original Xanax?
Heard the WDs are not as bad when tapering off from the extended release, because it does not pass through the body as quickly.
Is this true?

Sorry for the double dip posting, but I needed an answer urgently as I am about to run out. Just wanna be safe.
So If I had been taking 1mg per day of the XRs, the WDs should not be as severe as opposed to tapering off the regular Xanax?

I think the major difference between extended or regular Xanax is related to how much time you have until you start feeling the effects of w/a if any. The Effect on lack of Benzodiazepines, imo, is mostly psychological, although you may experience mild physical withdrawal

Exactly.

Its all in the mind. I agree as well. Personally, I am not addicted to them. Because they are not at all recreational.
I just need them for my panic attacks.

I am only concerned of the physical effects.

How long have you been taking the Sr version and do you use them every day? Benzo withdrawal can be dangerous, like alcohol withdrawal people can go into seizures. I went through it one time and it was way worse for me than opiate w/d's. Not trying to scare you, try and taper until you can get your refill.
