Opioids Ways to Counter-act Nodding

Personally I use bumps of coke. I'm being quasi-sarcastic b/c I realize the OP knows this annd its not really hour stuff, buUt I really do do it for that reason, and other stim drugs are really the only thing thatll work other than standing/staying in motion.

I'm struggling W/ this atm b/c my daily dose of methadone has me nodding out at my desk @ work and so coke is the only thing to keep me awake. Other stims like propylhexadrine or amphetamine work too, but I like coke b/c after theeffects ware off in an hour or two u can go back to nodding when u don't need to be alert. The crash aint so bad either and is short lived if u dose modetately.

Caffeine won't work, aat least not for me, I've downed multiple energy drinks + ephedrine +otc diet/workout pills and I'm stilll falling asleep. But if drugs are not the answer ur looking for, pysical activity is 2nd best. Tho I've literally passed out standing up, ill be nodding on my feet and then my knees will buckle and I realize I actually fell asleep standing up for 0.001 seconds b4 catching myself.

Other than standing, ill excuse myself from my desk and do jumping jacks, slap my face, or punch my legs, the sharp pain will wake you up. But tese only work for a few minutes tops. If you sit back down afterwards, the nod will creep back in in a few mins.

So really, either dose less, or mix with a stimulant that the only 2 long term solutions

^yeah, the quality of sleep is completely different. As a one off, opiates can help someone to get some much needed rest, but as a regular thing the amount of quality natural rest that your body/mind gets will be lessened.

Are you using it for pain management?

Is there a reason that you have to take nod-inducing doses?

I do have pancreatitis and 2 slipped disks in my back. I also have fibromyalgia. And rhumatoid arthritis in my left knee. I'm in a shitstorm of pain.
I'm prescribed 100mg oxy a day for the pain but take up to 3 times that much because I'm addicted to opiates.
I sometimes accidentally take enough to nod.
Sometimes I don't nod, but just feel drowzy and have difficulty concentrating.

switch to a more stimulating opiate such as tramadol or buprenorphine. on the other hand, you could try to stay away from more sedating opiates like heroin (morphine) and methadone.

do your dope shots st6anding up on a cliff

im sorry but LOOOL

I never even understood why people enjoy nodding so much. I recently just had my first real bad nod off of some insuffalted H and didnt enjoy it that much at all. I much prefer opiates that give me that energy boost and want to do things. Nodding just seems like you cant fully enjoy the drug because you're half unconscious.

It really comes down to:

If you don't like nodding out, don't take enough to nod out! It is possible to take a dose that doesn't make you nod!

^
It is but to my experience there os always a stimulating phase and a sedative phase I noticed this most strongly with oxycodone and methadone.
