Way to fight/avoid munchies

Been a weed smoker for awhile probably like 2 years, this last year smoking much more than the first. Just started smoking spliffs a few days ago and must say the combination of weed and tobacco definitely makes me not hungry. Idk why I'm guessing it's the tobacco though cause I always get mad munchies. I still get super ripped but food just doesn't sound that appealing. Hmm so I guess if you're looking for a way to avoid munchies and like spliffs I think you guys should try it, that is all.

i noticed the more acustomed(sp?) i got to daily smoking the more the munchies went away
 
This could also be true cause I took a 3 week break. And when I started smoking again(a few days ago) I've been smokin' strictly spliffs and have been smoking like 3 times a day.
 
I always prefer a spliff, with some nice flavored rolling tobacco because it gives the smoke a nice smell and taste. Also, it masks the green well, and makes it more inconspicuous. I have noticed that smoking spliffs does decrease my appetite, because nicotine is an appetite suppressant.

After a few hours though the munchies kick in, but I've found that drinking Vitamin Water, or eating a protein or meal replacement bar (MET RX Big 100 does it for me) will really help satisfy your food cravings for a long time.

Haha yeah, that would indeed be the tobacco.. Why do you think so many women smoke cigarettes?

For me, smoking a spliff only ruins the pure natural taste of smoking some good dank. And personally I also love the smell of burning marijuana (although I admit that probably has something to do with the pleasure I associate with it ;)) I love it all the same lol.

For me tobacco and weed go best by smoking a hookah after a long ganja sesh right beforehand. But hey, everyones got their own taste when it comes to the good old green leaf I suppose.
 
eat a full meal before blazing. smoke cigs. do some speed. do some coke. Either of those will help lol
 
After years of daily smoking, i don't get the munchies anymore, toking just lets me feel hungry if i'm hungry. Takes the piss trying to eat without having a smoke...
 
I get mad munchies. I think they're so much part of the fun of smoking weed for me that I'll never be able to cure them.
 
damn munchies... i've been smoking for 5 years and still get it
i believe the only way is drinking water or eat a full stomach before
 
Yea I smoked a joint lke an hour ago after I've been only smoking spliffs and the high is much more laazy and I'm really hungry.
 
I think it could be the tobacco making you not hungry...I usually eat before I smoke so that helps a lil to avoid the munchies.
 
Try brushing your teeth after you smoke. This has worked for myself and a lot of my peers.

I usually get a raging appetite after I come off a tolerance break, but after a few sessions I can control them quite easily and enjoy my highs a lot more.

I find that being active after I smoke helps with the munchies, because I tend to get the worst munchies when I'm sitting around doing nothing. In other words, I just eat a lot because it's something to do while I'm sitting around stoned off my ass.

I also agree with ason unique, in that I usually don't get the munchies for at least a couple hours after I've smoked
 
If you live on a tight income, you can condition yourself to deal with hunger by putting it out of your mind, and you can do that when you get the munchies

However that being said, its nice to get stoned and go to town and a fat ass burger every now and then :D
 
Smoke a strong Indica strain that makes you feel glued to the chair so even if you do get the munchies you will not want to go get any food.
