As some of you know I had been abusing Mephedrone since March 2009 - May 2010, and then quit for 6 months. I'm still clean of Mephedrone, and up until 3 weeks ago, I felt amazing, healthiest I'd ever been for sure. Before that I was dealing with bad after-effects from use of LSD in May 2008, HPPD and PTSD-esque symptoms which were a major issue until January 2009, when I was put on Clonazepam for 3 months, and when I tapered off the HPPD was still there, but less, and it didn't bother me nearly as much.

So fast forward to 3 weeks ago. I received 40mg of Lorazepam and 1500mg of Temazepam (I don't have serious issues controlling benzo use at all, get myself only ever to the point of minor withdrawals). I also had ~300mg of MDPV left over from a year ago. I take 2mg Lorazepam, 60mg Temazepam, and had heard smoking MDPV is really a good buzz. So, without ever chasing anything before, I read a quick guide and go about my business, think nothing of it until I comedown later. Read that out of the 300mg, probably only 50mg was chased properly, the rest simply combusted (due to benzo clumsiness/not caring/not even knowing chasing technique).

So combusted MDPV and Pyrrolidine, single exposure, ahh, couldn't be too bad, right? Well, WHILST in the midst of the best euphoria of my life I decided I needed another gram, so ordered 1g. Then decided I would sell the gram instead because the health effects are too risky, others will just snort/eat I assume, so no moral dilemma. The gram arrived, my buyers were taking there sweet old time. I decided Saturday night that, ah, 50mg won't hurt. 50mg turned into PROBABLY 400mg in the span of 12 hours. I got better at chasing however, but some still combusted for sure.

Gotta say, smoking MDPV twice makes me feel far more poisoned than doing copious amounts of Mephedrone for over a year made me feel...

Can someone just re-assure me that I couldn't possibly have done THAT much damage to my lungs, liver, kidneys, heart, and brain? Someone who has smoked more non-free based MDPV maybe? I came so far health wise and now I feel I'm gonna die of kidney failure or a liver tumour in like 2 years. Or any other totally unknown side-effect. :( I know the standard procedure for advice. Stop smoking MDPV - check. Hit the gym - starting tomorrow (giving my heart a day of rest). Eat well - once I get out of bed Omega-3 eggs, some toast, glass of OJ, double dosing my vitamins (hardly ate anything yesterday, of course) then hitting the grocery store for more fruits/veggies because I'm really low on them. Lots and lots of water, will be getting that at the store too. Lots of sleep, not a problem for me, without stims in my life, of course... ;)

All I'm looking for here is for someone to read this story, and tell me I couldn't possibly have caused myself long-term, irreversible damage. Or that I have, and what further steps I can take to minimize it. If I should see a doctor immediately, or at least get blood work done on my next physical. Should I tell the doctor about it at my next physical? Etc.

Thanks TDS, and maybe ADD. I wouldn't mind ADD taking a look at this too, though it's like a mixture of TDS and ADD material, and they like to stay away from the 'stories' side of things so I dunno. Maybe some ADD folk will just check in here.

Well, thats the thing with research chemicals. No one can really tell you if you have done any long term health damage because the long term effects of the drugs aren't known yet.

My suggestion is to try to stop worrying about it. You have already done it, so any damage is done and that can't be changed.

Focus on staying healthy in the future, and try not to stress the past <3

I doubt 1 binge would cause any long term health effects but then again i don't know anything about research chemicals. The shitty thing about them is that the long term side effects arent known so you won't be able to get a definete answer i wouldnt think.

But look at it this way lot's of people put damaging drugs such as tobacoo, alcohol, cocaine and amphetamines into their body everyday without a second thought. We know just how dangerous these drugs are. But usually if people quit these drugs they are fine. Well with the possible exception of tobacoo where you might get lung cancer years down the road. But you get my drift :\

Try not to worry about it so much which i know ain't easy.

if your looking for re-assurance that you havnt done any damage, im afraid nobody can give it to you. stop worrying about it, cant turn the clocks back now. i did some dodgy meph on saturday night and i still feel fucked from it, probably done myself some damage. been feeling dizzy for says, sick. too much alcohol as well, my mind feels clouded. the dizzyness is pissing me off. wish i could turn the clocks back, always make the same mistake of doing dodgy drugs after drinking. pissed off at myself

Your best bet is to go to your doctor and say you are feeling very ill - request a full panel bloodwork.

most insurances in the united states allow for ATLEAST one full bloodwork a year (I know, I get one every 3 months). Also mention the exact symptoms you are concerned with, get ref's to the specialist who can help in those areas (GI Specialist etc..).

I have done this and never once did I have to divulge WHY I am asking these questions, in my case the combination of steroids and rec drugs has done damage and so now I have to be more careful. BE SAFE - get a start with your doc and get some professional advice !!
