In June if '09, I was in a horrible accident at work, suffering 3rd degree burns across 60+ percent of his body.

At first the doctor gave Me CDN20's(Oxycontin with the thin coating over them), followed by 40's and 80's. These helped a lot, and swim never ran out of pills. It didn't kill all of the pain, but gave a a buzz that made it bearable. Soon he started snoring them.

Then OXY-Neo's came along, and all Canadians were forced to switch from regular oxy's/ These did nothing, and immediately he switched swim to hydromorph contin 9mg, Over the ensuing years they have been increased to 24mg, and frankly, While they are strong, they dont last long. My tolerace is so high, he can crush up and snort 2 of them to catch a decent buzz and get his pain in my legs from missing and torn ligaments and nerves.

After months of thought and consideration, I have decided to try IV, but I need help to decided how much his first time. He want to catch a really good buzz and ignore his pain, but he doesn't want to OD either. instead he wants to intensify its properties, while hopefully making his pills lass the whole month (90 lasts 20-21 days).

Would 12mg be a place to start, while shooting half, and then saving the other half in case 6mg isnt enough? Or is that too much, even with my tolerance.

Any help would be appreciated, and I hope for some education and ideas from all of you guys.

don't use swim unless you want to piss off the mods
find it comical after all your swim's you ended everything with "even with my tolerence" lol
but to answer your question as a general rule of thumb well for me anyway start small and increase if needed you can also take more never less
many people i have chatted with about the IV ROA is that it can be more potent as opposed to oral or snorting so again start small and increase until you find the sweet spots
i highly advise against the IV route but to each his own
goodluck bud and be safe

Its one of the silliest thing I ever did. I used to snort oxy for about a month before I began IV'ing it, then I shot H the first time I ever tried it and coke & meth soon followed. I should have never had that first shot because I can almost guarantee my life would be a lot easier than it is now, even if I was still just snorting h or oxy, it'd probably be ok but IV just makes it so easy to lose control of your life.

Im on methadone now but I have a raging IV methamphetamine habit at the moment which im finding harder to quit every day that I keep using. I used to hate stims, I was a benzo/opiate lover but I have somehow managed to become a straight methead! I have about 3 shots a day whereas I used to have 1 shot every 2-4 weeks a few months ago(and mind you ive been smoking and IV'ing meth for 10 years, Ive just been through a rough patch and that's all it takes to lose everything.

And I 100% guarantee that within a month your tolerance will have grown so much that your either buying extra pills or even H or your running out of pills and leaving yourself open to horrible pain. Pills are not meant to be injected, if you must learn about plugging or shelving its sometimes called. It might not sound appealing at first but I promise if you try it you wont look back!

TK is right. If you switch to IV you will simply get a tolerance to IVed opiates, which in turn is way worse. Lets assume that amount X gets to right while having the effect last a time of 1. If you shoot and it is amount Y (which is lower) but the effect lasts a time of 0.75 which in effect saves you money (pills etc) you will simply adjust. Then it becomes you still need amount X but now you have the effect lasting the shorter amount of time as that will not change if anything it will become less as you continue to adjust.

That is the real problem your usage frequency will increase and your tolerance will simply adjust to the new method. It will leave you way worse off in the long run. I understand the need to come up with a plan to make it work and we all go "oh my god look it worked!!!! I am going have such an easy time now!!!" and then that is seriously like a week or 2 before its right back to where you were but worse.

I apologize of that whole math thing is hard to understand. My point is the only thing that will change from your idea is the frequency, other then the use of a needle.

One other problem with a needle is track marks all over your arms.......& pills can be nasty to shoot.

Goof luck trying to figure out a pain relief regimen.
