waking up at 3 for bathroom or water

Someone told me these symptoms are early signs of diabetes but I have NO idea. I would see a doctor rather than wonder based on internet responses.

It doesn't sound like much of a problem but if your nocturnal urination is bothering you, then talk to your doctor about DDAVP (Desmopressin). DDAVP is used in patients with diabetes insipidus who have a hard time retaining water so it also helps them control night urination/excess thirst.
