waiting for a need

games of tug and games of war
people settling for things
they never settled before
and were looking to the sky now
cause things are going wrong
until the sun breaks through the clouds
were going to play along
just for now
just for today
lets put on our dress clothes
and pretend to always act this way
but all at once when the money flows
and the honey drips from our lips
were put on our rags and those two peice suits
swim around for a century
until another bomb blows
then save us all a seat in the front pew
cause then were be ready to pray again to you
