Like my last post: I apologize if I am breaking any rules by posting this, but just after reading around on the internet and not finding a whole lot of information on the abuse of either of these, I thought I would share my amateur knowledge.
For the past year I have been taking 300mg of Welbutrin and for the past 4 months I have been taking 70mg of Vyvanse.
I was diagnosed with depression about a year ago and was put on Welburtin which after a month of taking it I noticed positive results--awakeness and a big mood change. After 3 months of taking Welbutrin, I read that you could snort it but was not really sure on the effects. I gave it a try with about 100mg and sure enough, it worked. The burning was insanely intense but about 30 seconds later I got a decent rush of euphoria and more awakeness. Despite what other people have posted on this subject, I got positive results that I am pretty sure were not just placebo effects. There's my story with Welbutrin.
4 months at the start of school I was put on vyvanse at 30mg for ADD by the same psychiatrist that prescribed me the welbutrin. I didn't notice any effects positive or negative with this dose. So he decided to move me to 70mg. This was pretty awesome. A few days after taking 70mg I decided to take a 30mg with a 70mg. It was really stronger than 70. My eyes dilated, extreme concentration and alertness and I didn't sleep any that night but not really euphoric. It was actually pretty awful. I wanted to sleep so bad but not even 5 minutes of sleep. Sense the I have stayed at 70mg and I am very happy. My grades all raised from a B/C average to an A/B average :D:D:D
About an hour ago my friend told me snorting 160mg of it was like doing coke (which I've never done) because the euphoric threshold of Vyvanse is around 150mg. But I'm not so sure this would work because Vyvanse is a prodrug to Adderall. I read up on this and got mixed answers of it working and it doing nothing. I don't plan on trying it. I find Vyvanse a terrible drug to abuse. It lasts way too long! I've also heard people talk about how plugging it would work but I can't find any reports of people trying this.
That's enough talking from me. Sorry for the crazy long post, I just wanted to share my experiences with using and abusing Welbutrin and Vyvanse. If anyone has any experience with either of these and has more to add, please do.
