I am currently on 50 mg vyvanse 100 mg zoloft 150 mg tramadol and I am drinking a mix drink of vodka and orange juice. I am young and relatively healthy. Should I expect any problems?

I wouldn't mix Vyvanse, Zoloft and Tramadol....

Mixing antidepressants (SSRIs and SNRIs included) with Tramadol is a bad idea.

With alcohol in the mix...things could get dangerous.

Goddammit.. why do people always insist on making threads asking if they'll be ok AFTER they've taken the drugs?!

To answer your question: mixing the former 3 drugs puts you at risk of serotonin syndrome. Keep an eye out for any symptoms, and don't hesitate to get yourself to hospital if you start exhibiting.

Well, Zoloft and tramadol should not be risked due to the possiblity of Serotonin Syndrome, which can be very serious, even life-threatening. The fact that you are on Vyvanse, as well, does not help in that regard. Also, your seizure threshold is likely lowered a bit because of the tramadol, Vyvanse, and to some extent, the alcohol. It is not the safest combination, and in harm reduction I would advise against it. Whether or not you will have any problems I cannot predict.

Well I have a pretty extensive history of taking zoloft with large doses of tramadol without any real issues. Though I haven't combined it with the vyvanse and alcohol before now.

^^ agree with NT and nAON. Sertraline is an SSRI and tramadol is an SNRI; combining the two can have unpleasant side effects and puts you at risk of serotonin syndrome. Adding Vyvanse into the mix could exacerbate the side effects and as amphetamines can have serotonergic effects this could potentially increase the risk of SS. There is also a seizure risk as all 3 drugs can potentially lower your seizure threshold. Are you prescribed the medications? If so then you should speak to your doctor about the combination. If not then in future I definitely would not combine all 3..

Adding alcohol isn't going to do you any favours either, especially on top of tramadol - mixing CNS depressants can be dangerous. You also want to be careful drinking alongside taking psychiatric medication.

Didn't ask if I would be okay. I just asked if I should expect complications.

Yes you can expect complications as mentioned earlier putting yourself at risk of Serotonin Syndrome, its happened to me a couple of times.

Serotonin Syndrome can be fatal, and it really isnt pleasant thing to go through.
