Vyvanse to replace Adderall

Just got this new prescription of Vyvanse. Used to use Adderall/Adderall XR both recreationally/medically, have a very low tolerance definitely not habitual. As I've read about, it's harder to use Vyvanse recreationally. I got 40mg pills to replace 20mg Adderall XR, should taking 1 40mg Vyvanse be equivalent to taking 1 20mg Adderall XR orally?

Adderall XR has a instant release and slow release beads.
Vyvanse is solely a prodrug, it takes longer to kick in and longer to wear off.
