So I’ve been prescribed vyvanse off and on for half of my life and never had this issue until a couple months ago. It actually started when I took vyvanse while I was in opiate withdrawal and about an hour later I got so nauseous and puked my brains out. I still got the full effect. Ever since then though every time that I take it I get nauseous and it completely upsets my stomach. Just the smell of it now makes my stomach turn. Is this just in my head, similar to when you get sick from a certain kind of alcohol and then the smell of it just forever bothers you? This is a big issue for me because it is the best adhd medication for me. Will this go away eventually and has anyone else experienced something similar?

Do some research on Vyvanse generics. Vyvanse recently went generic and all sorts of people on generics have been complaining of symptoms like yours. I was getting generics for a short time until I realized that my ADHD symptoms had fully returned while taking my meds. I fortunately, have a compassionate doctor that believed me and put me on the name brand Vyvanse. I haven't had an issue since and the medication works like it should. There are many articles stating that some generic companies that make the ADHD generic formulations have lessened the active ingredient, lisdexamfetamine so they could bust out more pills. By law generics can vary in potency 20% either too low or too high. They also vary in the fillers that they use. It could be that you're sensitive to a filler ingredient in the generic you're taking (assuming you're on generic).
Also, take into account that you are in opiate withdrawal, which is literal "hell on earth": hot then cold, anxiety, cloud fog, depression, loose bowels, vomiting. When I am in withdrawal from opiates, my ADHD meds don't do much at all for me except make the anxiety worse. Try to avoid opiates as much as possible or get on opiate maintenance if you feel like you need it. There's no shame in it and don't let any AA or NA twerp tell you otherwise.
