I've been's stockpiling my vyvanse and tweaking off it every 4 days or so (120mg)
Could this damage my liver? I know it's a prodrug that goes through the liver and so I'm curious as to wether it'll cause damage. Thanks.

We don't use SWIM and such things. They don't protect you and make your posts hard to read.

Vyvanse is indeed a prodrug, although the conversion from l-lysine-dextroamphetamine (lisdexamphetamine) to regular old dextroamphetamine occurs in the digestive tract, not the liver.

I imagine there is some risk of damage just from the high dose of amphetamine you're taking. According to the Wikipedia article, 25mg Vyvanse is approx. equal to a 10mg Dexedrine XR, which means 120mg Vyvanse should be equal to 45-50mg XR Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) which is a pretty high dose unless you've got some sort of stimulant tolerance.

Vyvanase conversion to amphetamine and lysine does not cause damage; the same reaction is normal in the everyday digestion of protiens.

ok sorry about the SWIM i'm new but thank you for the information and ive got a bit of a tolerance but i've been trying the magnesium treatment and only tweaking every 4-5 days.
