Vyvanse 60 mg.

I am not a patient of Adderall but took my friends a couple of times. My boyfriend just came home with Vyvanse 60 mg. capsule. what can I expect????
 
A longer lasting 25-30mg adderall xr.

The effects are nearly identical except the duration is increased. Vyvanse often feels a bit more clean than adderall. Adderall is less consistent when it comes to being metabolized. This can sometimes cause inconsistent effects from dose to dose.
 
Vyvanse is a pro-drug for dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine). I'd say it feels closer to Dexedrine XR/Dexedrine Spansules than Adderall XR, but I'm partial to Dexedrine over Adderall anyway.

Just don't expect to sleep for a while after you take it. It will last a long time and be smoother than Adderall. We're talking a solid 10-12 hours.

I've personally never had the pleasure of trying Dexedrine so I couldn't make a comparison. I'm sure your right on how they compare, I just used adderall xr as the example because she mentioned she has taken it.

As you stated, the duration is long. Just expect a slow onset followed by a very long lasting plateau. During that time you will most likely feel very happy, talkative, possibly very calm and content, or hyper, varies from person to person. Vyvanse usually results in less jittery feelings and excess energy than other quicker acting stims. One thing I find nice about vyvanse is it doesn't have an abrupt ending to its effects. I find adderall will peak quickly, both IR and XR, followed by a shorter more pronounced plateau and then leave me feeling nice and shitty.

Vyvanse just slowly wears off near the end and often times leaves me feeling relatively well.

Vyvanse is going to feel like a less "tweaky," more smooth Adderall. It basically functions as a time-released Dexedrine as the Lisdexamfetamine breaks down in to Dextroamphetamine.

Basically it has the mental (CNS) stimulation of the dextroamphetamine portion of Adderall and Dexedrine, with none of the "fire under your ass" tweak from the levoamphetamine portion of Adderall.

That L-amp can force people to get their work done, but it also comes with nasty side effects, and an even nastier comedown. Some people like those tweaky (PNS) side effects for staying up late or dancing, and that's why a lot of people like to abuse Adderall more than Dexedrine if their tolerances are low.

60mg Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) metabolizes into around 20mg dextro-amphetamine, a 25mg Adderall contains around 18.75mg d-amphetamine

You'll notice a feeling similar to around 25mg of an Adderall XR, but with a few changes
The duration of Vyvanse is 8-12+ hours
A little bit less of the O.C.D. Adderall gives
A slightly "smoother" stimulant effect
And the effects on your peripheral nervous system (increased heartbeat & blood pressure) won't be as pronounced
Vyvanse does have a higher tendency to produce nausea compared to adderall, though
 
It's different. It's weaker. It doesn't really last longer. Less long, if yo account for the 2 hour wait for it to work. The part that is enjoyable lasts longer, that's what makes it awesome. However, it seems to cause less insomnia, so the part that sucks is less harsh and more brief, considering you'll be asleep sonner after the desired effect ends. The only way the effect is different is that Addy is 75% levoamphetamine. Some say that doesn't matter, but there have been meds in the past that cause severe birth defects, yet their opposing chiral counterparts do not. Basically, levo- is counterclockwise tuned shape, and dextro- is clockwise turned shape. Vyvanse is optimal for people looking to be on stimulants chronically, and Adderall is better for people who are looking to get high. It's that simple.
 
I've tried both vyvanse and adderall. And i prefer the adderall high because it's more apparent. the vyvanse high is more subtle. then one day i tried to see if i could push it more, then my anxiety level went up. and another thing i don't like about vyvanse is. you can only get high on it the most i think 2 or 3 days. after that, it's a waste. unlike other amps.
 
60mg can be a high dose I would recommend only eating half the capsule at a time since you've never tried it. For a female with no experience your risking having a bad time by taking the whole thing. So watch out for that. However if you eat the other half later you will probably stay up too long and have a rough crash due to the half life. So depending on how much Adderall you would take...
 
Yes I agree with weekend addiction start with 30mg in a parachute or just empty half the capsule and take that. 60mg is not an INCREDIBLY high dose, but it's for someone somewhat tolerant to amphetamines.. And just remember the come up will take some time as the lisdexamfetamine is metabolized in your liver. It is a smooth come up and somewhat smooth come down if you are smart.. Good luck.
