vivitrol/subs and getting back to right.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to find out more about the vivitrol shot vs suboxin. I m slightly put off by the fact that the vivitrol shot was originalit prescribed for a alcohol deturant. Which is pretty much my whole knowledge of the drug. Oh coarse I know about it's prescription guidelines and such but other than that I don't know much more about it. Does it, will it work like suboxin? Will it replace that deep need my body feels like I need in order to be riggt? After 6 years on suboxin I chose to come off it and make my way through recovery the Na way. I've had long periods of recovery time 5.5 years clean. All of which was drug free. No subs no valium to ease the way. Nothing. I've since learned that I have "sever' Adhd issues and was reminded after testing of my high anxiety level which I've learned to ignore for years due to the alternative of having to learn how to ..lol properly take medications! I'm stil trying to rationalize my drug usage. Taking anything as prescribed is a game im not good at.
So my question if anyone cares to cast an opinion on is.. will the vivitrol work as well as the sub.8mg 2xs a day? Any thoughts here would be helpful.a
