Hello and welcome. The forum is not always this shit, it's going through a bit of a... phase.
Whenever I have a break from long-term smoking, my dreams come thundering back and are usually very vivid and often quite disturbing. They tend to settle down after a week.
Anecdotally anyway, this seems to be quite common among smokers.
edit:
I thought I'd posted this but perhaps not.... etizolam does do something freaky to my dreams, definitely. If I've been taking small amounts (eg 2mg) for a couple of nights running and then have nothing I can guarantee a night of strange and disturbing visions, like being suffocated by ghosts and being unable to wake up, or 'waking up' repeatedly to find that I am still in the dream with the ghosts, or opening a green filing cabinet to find that it's full of enormous centipedes, for example.
