If you dont have a 360, you buy one for Halo 3*.
If you dont have a PS3, youll buy one for Metal Gear Solid 4.
If you dont have a Wii.....friggin get one and get Mario Galaxy!

*I apologise for using Halo 3 as my example with all the anti Halo peeps in da house these days, so please dont start a flaming war on that basis. I loved Halo, and would reccommend it to any fan of the online FPS genre. That is simply my opinion.

My room mate and I borrowed it from our neighbor, it was a decent amount of fun but the levels were a bit too "Linear" for me. Was also kinda short and easy, didn't die once on the final boss level / battle.

^the trick is getting all 120 stars man. anyone can finish the story with 60.

This is one game that makes me want a Wii. It looks incredibly trippy, I know I would spend many stoned nights playing this game if I had it.

^you get used to it.

i've passed the 90 stars point.
soon i'll be hardpressed to find the remaining ones.

still loving it. :D

Greenfalcon- I have a similiar issue. I rarely play the game because I get dizzy too often.

I think I'm somewhere in the realm of 80 stars at this point. I'm kind of dreading trying to find all the purple coins, however. It's quite difficult to control flying mario.

Great Game!! Definitely my favorite for Wii. Has a really good balance between being too easy and being frustrating. Very innovative levels, good plot. Breathtaking Wii Game!!!

the purple coins aren't too bad. at least the stages are actually pretty creative unlike the 100 coin collections of the previous games. my only problem with it is that i have to pay that comet starbit every time to make the comets appear.

getting close to 110 stars now

I wish I had more time to play my Wii lately :( I barely get 30 to 45 mins at night to play a bit...but I'm around the 76 star mark. Working on stuff up in the engine room. I haven't see any of the purple coin runs yet...but I haven't payed the comet star guy anything to move the comet around at all. I just wait till it shows up and then do what it is there to do. Apparently, I am going to have to start paying it soon I think.

Man I love some Super Mario Galaxy though. :D

111 stars, home stretch. got the third green starbit and killed those three galaxies.

Yeah. I found the 3rd green star and went to those worlds expecting a rough time by what the stars said...but I walked through them pretty easily.

I think that would be my only complaint with the game...and I find it hard to complain about. It's a little easy at times...but I think that's what makes it so much fun too. Just knowing that you can sit back and play and enjoy and not have to practice for hours on end just to get decent at the game :D

I didn't think finding the green stars was that difficult, although I found one of them accidentally. I haven't tried two of the three green star levels, but I managed to complete the frustrating balance ball level while narrowly managing to avoid throwing the wiimote through the TV.

aahh...I guess I was lucky and didn't have any issues with that one. Made it through on my first run. Made it through the "don't want to spoil it for you just in case" one on my first try as well, but I didn't get the record time. The other one I did a few runs at it. Mainly because I did 3/4 of the level without any issues and then made a mistake. Died a few more times because I was trying to rush it too much :D I don't think you will have a terrible time with them...I think the ball rolling one is probably the most frustrating one.

L2R mentioned something though that I just HATED when it came to Sunshine. Getting the 100 coin starshines...and those damned blue coins. Trying to backtrack through every level in hopes that you maybe missed a blue coin there and then finding it...was just tedious to all holy hell. Specially since you had no idea as to which ones you might have missed in the first place.

I am oh so fucking hoping that Galaxy doesn't hit me with anything like that...

i pplayed this game once and loved the hell out of it. it may be my reason for buying a wii in the near future. thanks finger!
