^^^Oh yeah! Awesome stuff. I was always forbidden to EVER use Proximity mines. They used to get pissed that every time they walked through a door or picked up a weapon things went boom.

I remember if you threw a mine on a crate then quickly picked the crate up the mine visually disappeared along with the crate, so you couldn't see it. But it was still there technically,so when the crate respawned it was easy to trick people into blowing up. Best trick :)

Mario 64 holds a special place in my heart. When I got a Nintendo 64 and loaded up that game for the first time I was blown away by the graphics and sense of freedom. That game was amazing.

i still get a tingly feeling in my butthole every time i think about mario 64, zelda ocarina of time, goldeneye, and smash bros

all of them i had a lot of good times with - maybe the best were the drunken way too serious smash tournaments in college

Id say multiplayer goldeneye was about as good as it got before halo came around and everyone was playing it

Super Mario 64 changed the face of gaming forever.

It says it all that 10 years on, no other platform game has come close to matching it in terms of such a complete understanding & implementation of 3D gaming mechanics. It's a solid gold classic that only the genius of Miyamoto could create, & still every bit as playable today as it was when it was first released.

Super Mario Sunshine was undoubtedly an excellent game, but fell short of the lofty standards set by its predecessor I think. Super Mario Galaxy though looks astounding & with the introduction of gravity as its major innovation could be the game to finally match up to 64.

This was the game that introduced me to games. So much fun.

This along with Smash Bros, and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron were my childhood.

super mario 64 is the shit. im tryin to get all 4 games at 120 stars
im on my 3rd run... love that fucking game

Dude! Super Mario 64 was the shit!!! I shit a brick when It came out and saw it under my christmas tree. I played this game for days.. The makers did a DAMN good job with the real feel they put in the game, the graphics were out of this world at this time, (1996) It was so cool, like after I managed to get all 120 stars i could get blown up on the castle roof and see yoshi!! :D along with 99 lifes.

this game is how i met my best friend (i had just gotten a 64 and he invited me over to his bday party so we could play it lol). we've been best friends ever since.

btw it came out in 1996 so it was my bestfriends 14th bday at the time. 12 years later we are still best friends..

^ thats crazy. im convinced this is the most profound game of its generation and one of the most influential games I have ever seen.
