Something I've always found when playing the single player story in all three Halo's thus far, is that I'm a bit of a perfectionist. In any given shootout with the enemy I will attempt to have as many of my fellow soldiers unharmed, often reverting to the previous checkpoint if I hear too many cries of agony from them or if I see too many of them drop.

I actually have been aware of this tendency in myself, but recently I started thinking I should try and be a bit more careless, as it doesn't tend to matter how many of your fellow soldiers survive or are killed, as more will tend to be provided at various points anyway.

How does everyone else approach this? Does it bother you when your fellow soldiers are killed?

I just spent like an hour reading up on the back story and the story behind the first two games on wikipedia. I had forgotten some of the details of the plot from the first two games as it had been a while since I played through them.

Definitely adds something to the story of the third game, which I'm about three quarters through at the moment. And I had not realised how elaborate the plot and universe invented for the game were.

if you start a campaign and want to restart it, how do you do this?

Who wants to do a legendary run on 'Halo' level (last one) in Ghosts for the Vidmaster Annual achievement? ;)
