just wondering if anybody had any little known tips/tricks for evading people, combat, etc..
also, what are your favourite features of/things to do in the game?

the best weapon is the knife that comes out of his wrist thing
have you gotten to venice yet? thats the best part it is beautiful and u can even row the boats in the canals
 
ive got the double wrist blades, 2 swords, dagger, knife, throwing knives, and thats it.
im still in florence, im just at the bit where you have to save Lorenzo de Medici.

when is it that you unlock the smokebomb?

and you're right about the beauty -
the visual fx team have outdone themselves over the last AC. without a doubt.
i find that this one (2) feels more like a game and less fiddly.

one thing i love doing is executing LOTS of rooftop guards before they even realize it,
and finding 2 or 3 guards down below, and double assassinating 2, and then when the 3rd goes "ITS YOU!!" just grab him and slice his throat with a sword :P
 
unlocked the smokebombs, poison blades, and im rich, biotch!

man, Portillo, you'll see that theres no comparison between the first and second game.
shit is epic.

Hillbilly: I LOST MY TOOTH IN MY NUNS VAGINA!

but serisly, i like assasins creed 2 a lot better then the first the first was fun for 2 hours, then you realize its all the same shit (yes i beat the first one on a rent)
 
assassins 1 personally felt like a test, like not a real game.
the controls were shit IMO, but the story was pretty good.
at least this time round there are multiple choice missions, and they mix up the concepts.
 
now that i've done a bit, i'm turning it off and returning it to my mate. everything it did wrong in the first is moreso here, and everything right in the first has been changed to something shit. controls are worse than in the first, story is infinitely worse, and the game is just as repetitive.
