Vicoprofen

I was prescribed Vicoprofen, which is Vicodin w/ Ibuprofen to help with pain from a car accident. I'm supposed to take 1 every 6 hrs. I was wondering if it would be safe to take 2 at a time. Just to feel a stronger effect. I only want to do this once, because i know Ibuprofen is bad on the liver. Would trying this once harm me? Thanx for any advice.

okay Vicoprofen = Ibuprofen + hydrocodone
Vicadin = Tylenol(acetametaphan) + hydrocodone
What does the pill look like? Then we can figured out how much ibuprofen is in there. You shouldnt take more than 1g ibuprofen MAX. I try not to take more than 600mg
 
Definately not! I've had vicoprofen before and they're actually more lax than vicodin (with tylenol). Usually with vicodin (5/500) I don't like to go over 4 at a time. With vicoprofen I can take 5 or 6 even without worrying too much.
Plus, if you're only doing it once, you are definately in the clear.
 
Thanks everyone=) I tried taking two and it really mellowed me out and I felt pretty good. Next time I will take three. I have another question, I became really itchy when I took 2- is that a side effect. I assume it's from the Hydrocodene. Thanks again.

the worst itches of my life came from codeine and morphine - all the other opiates never make me itch a bit.
benadryl is ok, sometimes a cream can help, but often I itch all over, so there's no way to put cream on my entire body. i find a lot of antihistimines work decent, my favorite being allegra (doesnt make me pass out when I'm trying not to nod).
