Regular heroin user; occasional G user.

I smoke about 40-80$ worth of heroin a week and have been for the last month or so. I have not used it in about three days. Yesterday night I did a moderately large line of G. I do not normally do it and haven't in almost a year. Yet I find myself still a little amped up eight hours after doing the line. Is this because I do G so rarely or because I've been using downers for a long period of time?

you might be withdrawing form the month of heroin use, since your smoking and only doing 40-80$ a week its not that much so the withdrawals aren't too bad but day 2-3 are usually the worst days of withdrawal so you might be getting insomnia and restless energy from the withdrawal.

Either that or maybe your G was cut with something, your talking about GHB right? never heard of it being in powder form I thought it was usually in liquid form, and I thought G was a downer?

Sorry I can't really say for sure what it is but those are just 2 suggestions, it could be any number of things really.

The thread prefix is amphetamines so I'm not sure what G refers to. GHB is sometime called liquid ecstasy, and MDMA is of course an amphetamine, but that is a bit of a stretch.

affasd gave you some good ideas about heroin withdrawal, cut product, and his most astute point was that we can't really say for sure what it is and it could be any number of things. Since all we can do is speculate about why you felt slightly upped when you didn't expect it (maybe you got a good nights sleep the night before?) I'm going to close this now.

You can take this opportunity to read over the Other Drug Guidelines as found in my signature and if you have any questions or concerns about this thread being closed feel free to PM me.
