Very experienced with opiates, not much so to Heroin.... #4?

So I've been hearing of some shit that people are getting and it is called #4 and can be snorted (which is the one I'm looking for) not the black tar heroin. Is #4 the snortable heroin? what's the difference mainly? I've looked this up but as usual, conflicting answers. How about gun powder heroin? One thing I will never do is inject. The most extreme I've done is snorted shit, I refuse to inject

#1-4 was a grading sytem, given to heroin by the dea in the 70's.
It's murky waters, and debated quite often, as to what constitutes what.
Being from Chicago, you should see very little black tar, and mostly east coast powder. I'm right up I-90 from you, most of our product comes from the chi, and it's all snortable powder...
I feel sorry for west coasters..

It's not a grading system, more an explanation of the synthesis process.

Anything you get in America is #4 whether it's tar or powder.

#3 is what's generally available in Europe--not possible to snort, easy to smoke, requires an acid to shoot
