or have my own illusions
disillusioned you too?

these words and this concept
have been beaten to death
feelings' estranged and sordid
these verses are not satanic, yet

i have held the beholder's hand
while looking through his eyes
the depths are endless
encompassing all with disguise

walking lies, abated and misconstrued
a faceless whoever
a brainless you

how does it feel?
these verses are not satanic
that would make satan real

I really like the metre and timing of this poem, it has a syncopated feel and is quite wonderfully descriptive and pondering.
