Heroin vein or artery??? need some help plz!!!

I'd say the walls of the vein aren't really stronger, it's just the fact you shot up many in that spot and that's why it now has a bigger diameter and so it's more visible. The same thing happened to me in the same spot on my left arm. The vein is even more visible than it was before I started to shoot up but it took some time for it to recover like that. It was the easiest vein to hit even when it got deeper when I was on a long taking spree. It's been October 2009 since I didn't touch that place (not counting blood tests I have to take every 2 months because of hypothyroidism). And a couple of times I've shot up recently I injected into veins in my inner and outer forearm.

The forearm is the best place to aim for. You don't have to move it like the crook of your arm, so soreness isn't an issue. You have a multitude of veins there that are close to the top of the skin there, you can move all over the place. It's great to keep from having big track marks. If I stick myself and don't get into the vein, I move up or down my arm a few inches. That way I don't have overlapping bruises if things don't work out perfectly. I have 3 main veins that run the length of my forearm that I can hit in any different place at any time. It's great for keeping from collapsing them.

I don't know if it's only my case but these veins on the inner side of a forearm, they're harder to hit than the vein in the crook of arm, they "like" moving (although I've been always skinny so I can easily see them). So at the very beginning I had hard times hitting them. But sure it's good to be able to hit them if someone shoots up a few times a day as there are many of them and you can aim lower or higher so you don't inject all the time in the same place. But concerning moving veins, hands and feet are much worse. I remember I once hit some nerve where my thumb begins and it hurt terribly, it felt like I went through a nerve and then hit a vein. Also, there's quite a big vein on the inner sides of knees (but not higher where thigh begins as veins even if they're visible one may hit a big artery there and these aren't visible). It's similar to hitting a vein in the crook of an arm but the vein is bigger and it's a bit deeper under the skin (but I don't know if it's a spot for a thick solution like heroin's, I remember I once got a hard bump after the shot, it didn't burn or hurt at all but it took a few months for it to disappear, I must have injected some under the skin, there'd be no problem with sth like morphine sulfate solution from ampules etc. if it happened, I guess).

I was shooting uo coke and heroin all night and now my vision is blurred pretty badly. Anyone have any info on why tat could happen. Could be unrelated tho im not sure.

but yea smartgurl. i had the same problem before and you must have just missed some of the shot. your body will process the drugs through eventually and the bumb will go away.

Some of the finer blood vessels in your body are in your eyes, they could have filtered some solids out, might wanna go get that checked out?

that's extremely unlikely as you would have to shoot into an artery that was on its way to the eyes since all the blood in veins goes through your lungs before it travels back out, and your lungs contain by far and away the finest blood vessels in your body.

your eyes are blurry because you stayed awake all night on hard drugs. Go to sleep.

You will know for sure if you hit an artery. the blood is pink and it def is painful to pierce the artery. Plus they are extremely deep in your arm. You can not see them under your skin...
