Hello Friends I am vegan and Buddhist and love weed, girls and other drugs.
The most important thing if you want to have any kind of meaningful life is to stop killing other living beings. If you value your own life, I suppose you don't think that the other animals you kill value their's equally? Certainly they do. What makes you think the animals you kill value their lives any less than you do your own? To think otherwise is nothing but a cognitive failure of the most profound, serious, calamitous, catastrophic order.
I didn't want to turn this introduction into a sermon but I am very aware that most people do not care at all about how much destruction and killing they perpetrate during their life. They don't care if they contribute to destruction and eradication of whole species, whole ecosystems, the entire environmental balance of the planet. As long as their meat tastes good. This is such a barbaric, ignorant, evil way of life that it defies belief that people flatter themselves to think of themselves as good, positive, useful human beings when they engage is such vile, evil, barbaric destruction.
So much for my introduction. But this message is infinitely, infinity times infinitely, more important, urgent, than any personal introduction.
Best Wishes to you all
17 million sharks destroyed each year
1 trillion fowl. Yes, 1 TRILLION
100 billion head of cattle
and on and on it goes.
Nevermind the environmental destruction. Any long term global warming-type effects would be COMPLETELY REMOVED if even 10% of humankind were to become pure vegetarian or vegan. If it were 50%, then the entire globe would thrive with diverse life and exceeding happiness. No-one would live in fear, no-one at all would go hungry, there would be far less disease, there would be less conflict, the world would basically be utopia.
This is the absolute truth, but you refuse to believe or accept it. Why? Because you find the taste of meat so delicious.
Is there anything, anything more pitiful than that? You are prepared to sacrifice your entire world for your attachment to the taste of flesh. And you flatter to call yourselves intelligent? It's an inconceivable situation.
Cheers
