I decided to start on cannabis due to its pain relieving properties, many people here suggested that for someone with a damaged Autonomic System such as mine and due to my hypersensitivity to all psychoactive substances, vaporizing would be the best and most subtle option...
However after two weeks of trials with the vaporizer I found myself developing horrible gastrointestinal problems after every session. So I was ready to quit forever but before I did and as a final resort I decided to try rolling a joint for once as opposed to vaporizing it.....
It turned out to be a total success
For once my stomach wasn't doing back flips after smoking, there was still some unusual increase in churning and movement but no regurgitating mouthfuls of stomach acid, nausea, intestinal spams, vomiting or acid reflux lasting into the next day. Since discovering this I've had 3 successful days of being able to smoke joints without problems but last night to finalize my experiment and to be certain I once again hit the vaporizer and again discovered its horrible torturous side effects on my digestion..
So the question now is why is vaporizing so hard on my system..for starters I know for a fact if I didn't already have a damaged Autonomic function due to my medical condition vaporizing would not be so much of an issue but being already so sensitive as I am something else in the vaporizing process is triggering it a bad reaction.
I would much rather vaporize then smoke, with 10 years of medical problems it is important for me to maintain a healthy immune system and avoid and carcinogens and toxins from smoking but ironically my life always has a cruel way of twisting things and in this case the healthy way to smoke (vaporizing) is rejected and the unhealthy way (smoking) is tolerated. I don't want this. I have managed to narrow down the possibilities of why vaporizing is causing issues and need you guys to single out the problem...
1-The home made vaporizer from a white clear jar is releasing toxins when heated, this problem can be solved by purchasing a proper vaporizer?
2- When vaporized the street quality cannabis is releasing some of the chemicals it was sprayed with during the growing process, your body maybe sensitive to these, however when you smoke it these chemicals are burned off ?
3- When vaporized the cannabis does not release as much of the other cannabinoids and produces much more CBN and less THC than traditional smoking methods, CBN may also counters the effects of THC or perhaps CBN seems to potentiate THC's disorienting qualities or side-effects, your body maybe sensitive to the larger CBN then THC ratio released when vaporized ?
