Hey,

Has anyone ran across this thing, or better yet, own one? I'm familiar with how to vaporize, I've used them before, I enjoy them. My question pertains only to this model. I can't find any info on it anywhere, not even on their website, and I had some general questions about it.

What is the best setting to use it on for pot? How much do you recommend using in the whip? How the fuck am I supposed to use the hands free thing?

Any other info you have on it, or tips for vaping in general, would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Because some bitter newbie is spamming all the vape threads, I felt the need to clarify that I'm already familiar with vaporizing and enjoy it.

these hot boxes have been around since the 60's out in california. it's called a vaporizer....and they can be a little tricky to use the first few times. Basically do you like your cup of joe lightly roasted...or do you prefer dark roast? If you prefer a more full bodies hit.....crank that baby up on high and inhale deep tokes my friend....you'll be sick of it in no time and back to rolliing joints and loading your bong!

Screw off, I'm sick of your attitude all over the forum.

First of all, the whole point of vaporizing is to release the THC vapor without burning the plant material. If the box is hot enough to burn the pot, you're DOIN' IT WRONG.

Secondly, since my future in-laws don't like the smell of pot, I use this as an alternative.

Thirdly, I like vaping, a lot of people do, and your time wasting bitter reply is unwelcome here. If you're going to reply to any of my threads, make them worth my while.

i've not used that particular model, but i have used several other types of vapes.

as far as how much, i like to pack them loose but full (i assume you know to grind the pot as finely as you can . . i like to leave a few bowl-packs exposed during the day so that i can get it as close to a powder as i can). you want room for the air to move around, but you also want plenty of pot in there.

and i like to judge the temperature settings by the color/taste of the pot. i start off relatively low (pot yellows, taste is fresh and exactly like the scent of the bud), and then turn it up a bit more towards the end of the "bowl" to get out a little bit more if i want a more stony buzz along with the heady, up vape high.

also, i'm not sure if this is an option with whip-style vapes, but i've found that my heat-gun/bong vape works best if i pre-heat the gun.

So, start off around 180-200 F, then work it up to around 300-320 F?

Yeeaaah, i owned one.. When the police raided my house they kinda at it & i stated its a herbal vaporizer for plant matter but they left it... I think they didnt wann include "medical vaporizer" on confiscation list. With that model you take the whip(Plastic/glass piece) and drop finely grinded bud or keif on the bottom of the screen in the head of the glass piece which then goes on the tube like thing with metal screen on the vapor box itself which heats up the material & produces a fiine & mellow smoke. From my experience it seems a more Sativa high is produced from lower temps. 320f is just above THC's vapor point so go there & march your way up to 450 or 550 to get that relaxing couch locking indica feeling.

I love hitting vapz. If you got some dank in there the taste is just so amazing sometimes.

that sounds pretty accurate from my experience w/ the heat-gun as well, although i didn't want to give specific numbers since mine are a little off due to an imperfect connection between gun and bowl.

just be careful not to leave it up at those high temps for too long . . there is nothing more disgusting than pot that combusts during a vape.
