TDS Valium withdrawal after 3 months binge

hi all,so I got hold of a supply of valium10s about 3 months ago and have been taking
about 20 pills per day.i ran out 8 hours ago.

does anyone know what I'm up against?

I'm on subs luckily,I thought for 3 years I would never touch a drug(except weed)again.
I was a heroin addict.but took valiums and xanax too so whatever.
I feel guilty for this relapse ,my wife is not liking me right now.

200mg a day and you're now entirely out? That's seizure territory once your level starts plummeting. Do you have any way to get more to do a proper taper? 200mg a day for a month would likely be more than enough to cause extreme withdrawal symptoms. At that level most places consider it a medical emergency.

Valium withdrawals are pretty insidious. You think you're going to be fine and then your level drops of actual diazepam and you get worse symptoms, think its over with and then get hit when the desmethyldiazepam leaves your system a few days later too.
 
yeah,i might get some klonopin to taper.
but I've done this before and I was fine.
just this time I'm a little worried.
 
Its always best to err on the side of caution with benzos, I'm sure you know that. They're nothing to underestimate in withdrawal ya know?

Yeah I do know how it is. I'm sitting here practically grinding my teeth to keep myself from taking an extra valium and blowing up my taper.
 
You should do a taper, that's quite a large dosage 3 months daily imo would cause a pretty bad withdrawal. As far as seizures go, Idk if you would have one some don't but why chance it especially if you are going to be driving?

I had seizures after 2 days of running out of my benzo script early and it was unpleasant to say the least...

You must seek medical help ASAP <3
 
well,I have to come in and talk about it.
taper off with clonazepam.
I see her in 5 hours,until then she phoned in 5 0.5 clonazepam in case.
picking it up right fucking now.

benzo withdrawal sucks.

Great move calling the Dr. You might need more than a GP though.

You need to see someone in chemical dependency. At least the GP can get you something and try to work you through it. When you realize that this is over your GP ask to see a DR. in Chemical Dependency.
Probably the place you get your subs from.
 
I avoided my psychiatrist.I don't want to tell him right now.
but I know,eventually I have to come clean with everyone.
makes me want a valium lol.

I think my GP is thinking small doses of clonazepam for now.
my pdoc might see it differently.
 
3 months of 20 pills a day? That's around 1,800 pills. Yeah man, defintely taper, if you don't get ahold of more benzos you need to go to the hospital. Benzo withdrawl is dangerous. Stay safe and best of luck.

How can you even stay awake with that?
